A ruby red sculpture in Portsmouth, New Hampshire's Market Square. Mary had suggested that we go for just a little bit of red for this week's Ruby Tuesday. You decide, is this "a little bit" of red or a whole lot? Either way, I liked the sculpture. Sort of an odd choice for street art, but then again Portsmouth had a pretty great edginess and counterculture undertone to it, so it does actually fit in in its own way against the background of the historic square.

Not too much red for me. Your ant is looks like its legs will break under the its own weight. I like you amount of red. Thanks for sharing.

It's a great photo. Love the buildings in the background. And the negative space they create for the lovely blue sky. I actually kind of like this ant, and I'm not usually a bugs kind-of person.

ReplyDeletethis reminds me of an '80s movie called Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! there was a giant (well, to the shrunken kids, at least) ant in it! :)
