I love the sound of a fountain...keep trying to figure out a way to have one without running electricity out to the garden. Glad to know you're safely away from the turmoil. I get so depressed thinking about it all...prospects for a peaceful 2009 seem dim, but not giving up hope. Best wishes to you!
It's fascinating how ancient fountains work without pumps and electricity. Glad to hear you are away from the current fighting. I pray for a solution; perhaps the new U.S. administration will bring fresh thinking to the situation.
I'm not sure what you did with it, but it's a fine piece of architecture. Love all that ornate, baroque-like design and texture.
