Arrived last night. Photo taken on a beautiful walk in a nearby park (gotta love this town) this morning, edited at 4:30am - thank you jetlag...
It rained lightly the rest of the day (still is in fact), I'm glad we got the chance to get out into the woods to stretch our legs and get some bug bites fresh air before it started. The rest of the week is supposed to be beautiful though so we're off to the lake for swimming and a picnic tomorrow today (did I mention that I've been up since 4am and it's now tomorrow already?) (not so much off to as strolling down the block to - have I mentioned that this is a great town?), where my sister and family will hopefully join us by midday. My kids are beyond excited that the cousins are arriving, and just in time for tomorrow night's tonight's street party too. Last year's fair brought some great photo ops, I wonder what tomorrow's will bring.
What's summer brought you this week?

Good for you! Give my regards to America.
