Stained Glass Window

.

Jerusalem's Christ Church, completed in 1849, is the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East.

This one can do triple-duty for Wordless/Wordful Wednesday and Whimsical Windows, wouldn't you say?

  9. Wow, Robin - that is really breathtaking! I'm always a sucker for stained glass, but that one is particularly special.

  10. Beautiful! For the longest time, whenever we traveled around the world, my husband would love to take pictures of churches. He loved the stained glass, the unique architecture and the purpose of the building. Some of the most beautiful pictures of churches we took were in Christchurch New Zealand where there were two earthquakes recently. I hope the churches held up.
