  2. Wow Robin, Maya looks just like you. Or at least what I would imagine you to have looked like at her age. I guess I never saw the two photos of you so close together before. Either that or I just wasn't paying attention. Which seems more likely.

Looks like they're having a blast though!

  10. Thanks for the link, I had never heard of Purin before, but it is a bit like our "carnaval" I think?

  13. I didn't know Esther had wings! Great shots. You and your daughter have the same smile.

  14. Only if Esther was a fairy Beth. She's a Fairy Queen. And for those of you not up on your current cartoons, Itai is "Ben 10". No, I have no idea who/what it is either. Something to do with fighting aliens I think.

  16. I love the bottom photo of Maya. Partly because you have a blank wall behind her, so the photo is all Maya! What a beautiful portrait. Happy Shushan Purim.

  21. They're so cute. I guess the days of limiting Purim costumes to Esther and Mordechai are long over, huh?

I jurt my neck recently so I've been wearing a neck brace. I tell people it's my Purim costume.

I posted a WW today too. Please stop by: http://blog.feefifoto.com

  23. He loves Ben 10 geminigirl. He's (Ben) very popular here - yesterday the kids were in a show put on by their afternoon program (zaharon). The older kids (Itai's age) didn't have to wear their Purim costumes, but I noticed several more Ben 10's among the younger boys too.

feefifoto (great name by the way) - I think that religious kids do still tend to dress up as figures from the Purim story more often, but among the secular kids anything goes, and the costumes are basically the same as those you'd see for Halloween in the US.
