  20. Wow! What a sky!
The blossoms are beautiful, but the sky is what catches my eye, and draws it to the rest.

  22. Beautiful! I just love this shot of the almond blossoms against the blue, blue sky! My husband grew up on an almond farm in the central valley of Calif, and we're still part owners of the almond farm, so I know that the coming month is very important for pollination of the blossoms.

Are you having the same problem in Israel that we are having here, CCD (Colony Collapse Disorder)? That's where worker bees just abandon the queen, so the colony collapses and the bee population decreases dramatically. Very bad for all farmers!

  27. Robin, I googled CCD and found an article from 4/09 that said scientists have found a parasite that was causing honeybee colony collapse and they were able to treat it successfully, so yay! http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/04/090414084627.htm

  30. Robin, all I can say is more beautiful than Van Gogh's Almond blossoms, which coincidentally is the inspiration master piece I am making a jewelry piece for at Art Bead Scene this month. Just gorgeous!
