This is amazing! It would make a great quilt design with black bias on a coloured background, or coloured bias on a cream backgroung perhaps...Would you let me copy it and play with a design for myself to try? Please? I was into the stained glass technique a year back but I began too complex and would like to have another go at something simpler- this would be perfect!

Patterns really are your thing!
I thought of you the other day when I was trying (and failing!) to take a photo of an old-fashioned, basket-woven lobster trap.

I'm a great basket fan myself and I love the pattern of this one!
Great idea for a photo.
Well scraped.
Another cool one. Nicely scraped!
I like that. In fact, I like that a lot. That is a very strong black and white image with a lot of pull and strength.
Wow, I love this. I would have thought it was a ceiling with the sky above if you hadn't told us.
The perfect symmetry - something for a mathematician.
Oh, I like that one a lot!
Sometimes the real treasure is at the bottom of the basket!
Lovely monochrome shot, Robin.
love the pattern and it looks great in black and white :)
Is this because you were a basket case while your husband was away? ;) I am glad he is home and all is right in your little piece of the world again.
Brilliant! I would never have thought to take a picture of the bottom of a basket!
i thought the same thing as Carver

By all means Heckety, help yourself :). I'd love to see what you come up with!
Cool shot!:-)
Great image! Perfect as monochrome ... love the pattern!
Beautiful pattern! Just the sort of thing I love.
Thanks for the visit.
Scrape away! That's awesome. Looks like one of those dream catchers that were so popular around here about 15 years ago.
