Folkie = someone who listens to / plays folk music. This guy was the "mascot" of the Prescott Park Folk Festival in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It was a riot, they kept moving him around all day long, positioning him in all sorts of different places doing different things. I love a festival organizer with a sense of humor, don't you?
More flashes of red can be seen over at Work of the Poet, where it's Ruby Tuesday time again.

This is weird but funny! Great shot on your part.
I recognize even the humor from my own youth.
We had a skeleton(plastic) called Olsen, which we carried around the building, to great disapproval of the deacons.
I guess their disapproval was our aim.
Without a good laugh now and then, we couldn't survive.
Funny about the Hebrew word Sira. I know of to places in our county called Sira. One is an island far out in the Nordic Sea.
Out- Sira, it's called as opposed to the other inland Sira.
It's a magic place to visit.
Scary looking chap :) I wonder if we'll all end up like him - a bag of bones in front of a laptop :)
That dude needs some pie.
Cool shot, I laughed pretty hard!
This pic is just the best. My favourite for this Ruby Tuesday so far. I love it. I laughed when I first glanced it.
This is the sort of fun that really adds to the joy of the day!

I love it when there's a "side feature" like this. Makes the show unique even among other shows in the same series. "Remember last year when they had the skeleton in the t-ahirt..."
Great stuff.
I always love a great festival with fun and funky sense of humor!
How funny...Way to long on the computer I would say. I love Folk Music.
Have a great Rosh Hashanah.
My Ruby Link for you
