Cherub in Rome's Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore

Click here to purchase this print (or iPhone case, or stationary, or...) from my Society6 shop.

I hope you're not getting tired of all the Rome photos because there are plenty more where these came from ;).

I love armchair travel, viewing Rome through your eyes is a wonderful way to see the sights. The cherub reminds me of my granddaughter, though she's more slender. She loves wearing wings and has several sets :)

We'll take all the Rome photos you've got. Keep 'em coming.

But you know, you can also just come as far as Jerusalem and see angels in art. The Israel Museum has a temporary exhibition called Divine Messengers.

Not sure how I missed this, but glad I caught it now. I visited this Basilica in 1988, I remember the name very well but that's about it! I'm assuming this little guy was here then, but of course I wouldn't have taken a photo anything this good.
Thanks for reviving memories of a great trip!
