Since everyone enjoyed the A's so much last week, here are the B's - name-calling Shakespeare style (don't worry, I won't be going through the whole alphabet. I've got an idea for a book list next, I just haven't had a chance to put it together yet):
- Bacon-Fed Knaves (and bacon is a problem why?)
 - Bag Of Flax (mine is a food additive, but I could try using it as an insult instead I suppose)
 - Barren-Spirited Fellow
 - Base And Humble Mind
 - Base Ignoble Wretch
 - Base Minnow Of Mirth
 - Bawd Between Fold And Want (I don't even know what this one means)
 - Beauty's Canker
 - Bed-Swerver
 - Blasting And Scandalous Breath
 - Boil'd Brains (sounds appetizing)
 - Bolting Hutch Of Beastliness
 - Breeder Of Dire Events

I think I'll name 5 and 12 as my favorites this week. What are yours?
Don't forget to visit Thursday Thirteen to see what everyone else is talking about this week. Hey wait a minute - this week's TT isn't up yet. Nevermind, we'll just start without them.
I like "blasting and scandalous breath..."
ReplyDeleteDid you see your muse dancing on the eclipsed moon???
So THAT'S where she's been! We couldn't see the eclipse from here.
ReplyDeletewhat an lists ;)
ReplyDeleteMy T13 #1
Sorry, but I don't really understand.
ReplyDeleteThey're all insults that Shakespeare used in his plays Gattina. This week I chose 13 that started with B.
ReplyDeleteI really thought you would go through Z. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have a favorite, as I like these all but one thing for sure, I don't want to be #13!
yes 12 is my fave. Gotta go yell at
ReplyDeleteMoo for not putting her dishes in the dishwasher.
Tossing up between Bolting Hutch of Beastliness and Beauty's Canker...
I like #5 but since I'm zzz that shouldn't be surprising :)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I like to read Shakespeare....I love 'em all. But I guess if you want just one as a favorite it'd have to be #8.
ReplyDeleteOh and the one "B" I first thought of was a quote from a movie "Open Range" with Kevin Costner...an insult ---
Bucket Mouth!!
I love that. Don't ask me why. ::giggles::
#10 is hysterical!
ReplyDeleteI like the base minnow of mirth. I should try these out on my students. There's one I have in mind for this one, actually. ha ha.
ReplyDeleteHey! Theer's nothing wrong with bacon. lol
ReplyDeleteGreat list:) Happy TT and thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteBreeder of dire events. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of the first one. :-) Although, I'm afraid it loses some of its potency with my non-Jewish friends. :-)
ReplyDelete8 and 13 are awesome! Beauty's Canker and Breeder of Dire Events... yikes!
ReplyDeleteSo hilarious!
And since you are interested in creative insults, my family and I thought this was hilarious... enjoy!
Breeder of Dire events?? What is that?? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
'Base Ignoble Wretch' & 'Breeder Of Dire Events' are definitely my faves. Can't wait for the first chance to use them on some poor unsuspecting fellow.
ReplyDeleteI wish we all really talked like that, made up new ways to say everyday things. I like Breeder of Dire Events.
ReplyDeleteI love "Beauty's Canker"... perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou have been tagged for a MEME. I know you will do a great job. I love your writing.
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a creative TT!! The Bolting Hutch of Beastliness - like the hutch where one stores the good china?!
ReplyDeleteOoh! Breeder of Dire Events...how ghastly! :)
ReplyDelete#1 is my favorite! Mmmmm...bacon!
ReplyDeleteNumbers eight and thirteen made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteBloody Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteUh-oh. None of those grabbed me the way they did last week. :(
ReplyDeleteMust be the mood I'm in, but I can't say what mood that is, other than Dreading Doing Dishes. Got an insult for that?
I heard #4 used recently. It was probably on House. Happy TT.
ReplyDeleteI am new at the Thurday 13 and am obviously too stupid to make any sense out of the home page, so I will post here.
