Yes, I agree that is a cool shot. It looks like a metal grate, and yet we know it is nothing more than a shadow. Can there be some deep existential meaning in this photo?
At the playground a block away from my home. I took it this morning while my daughter was playing. The bench which made the shadow is in fact a metal grating/mesh type affair.
A lovely capture of the shadows emphasising the geometry of the lines. I love how including the shape of the leaves you have only added to what you are trying to say. I like your work here.
Great shot. I've seen something like an optical illusion. Keep staring on your photo and you will see what I have seen. It is like some flushes of small white glows.
At least the sun is out.
ReplyDeleteAren't shadows wonderful! I find them fascinating...nice job.
ReplyDeleteHave you been down on your knees? :)
ReplyDeleteNice one.
Like loose-weave fabric.

So much going on with that simple grid Robin. Makes my eyes wiggly. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
ReplyDeleteSeems daft to come back to say I like the presence of the leaves but . . . well, I do.

Okay, that made me just a little bit dizzy. But I love the light/shadow pattern. Vertigo be damned.
ReplyDeleteCool capture! I love the play of light, and one can never argue with sunshine. ~ Calico Contemplations
