I snapped this shot quickly during a shopping trip on Friday and now I'm kicking myself for not writing down the name of the artist selling these wonderful magnets at Tel Aviv's Nahalat Binyamin Crafts Market - I'd love to give them a plug here. If any of my Israeli readers happen to know who it is please tell me and I'll post their details, if not I'll have to try and track them down next time I go.

Visit (nearly) Wordless Wednesday to see what other people aren't (or perhaps are) saying this week.

  1. So intricate, so tiny- rich with detail and color and pride.

What size are they in real life? They are beautiful!

  3. They were quite small, maybe an inch and a half square? They'd make a great little souvenir or trinket for a friend. I really need to find that artist - these would be perfect for some of the small gifts I need when I travel...

  6. I like the arrangement in neat but slightly imperfect rows.

Hopefully the artist is back at the market again.

  8. Wow... those magnets make a nice composition. I love the colours. The OCD in me wants to straighten up that one that's out of alignment at the top-left, though.

  10. Just ask for the turquoise magnet maker and you'll find your artist. Quite nice making a common object into such colorful pieces of art.
