.I snapped this shot quickly during a shopping trip on Friday and now I'm kicking myself for not writing down the name of the artist selling these wonderful magnets at Tel Aviv's Nahalat Binyamin Crafts Market - I'd love to give them a plug here. If any of my Israeli readers happen to know who it is please tell me and I'll post their details, if not I'll have to try and track them down next time I go.
.
Visit (nearly) Wordless Wednesday to see what other people aren't (or perhaps are) saying this week.

So intricate, so tiny- rich with detail and color and pride.
ReplyDeleteWhat size are they in real life? They are beautiful!
Nice, and all different. Looks like the artist has fun making them.

ReplyDeleteThey were quite small, maybe an inch and a half square? They'd make a great little souvenir or trinket for a friend. I really need to find that artist - these would be perfect for some of the small gifts I need when I travel...
ReplyDeleteThe detail and colors are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those magnets... they're stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful they look like hand made tiles, something I've always wanted to try.
ReplyDeleteI like the arrangement in neat but slightly imperfect rows.

Wow... those magnets make a nice composition. I love the colours. The OCD in me wants to straighten up that one that's out of alignment at the top-left, though.

I LOVE magnets! I would never be able to choose just one of those...I'd have to buy another refrigerator so I could have them all. I love the colors...just so cute!
ReplyDeleteJust ask for the turquoise magnet maker and you'll find your artist. Quite nice making a common object into such colorful pieces of art.
ReplyDeleteThey are so fabulous! I'd love to own the whole collection.
ReplyDeleteI love the color on those. So rich and vibrant with life. :) Happy WW. I'm up too.
