Saturday Afternoon Walk, Jerusalem Hills

.
Israel is celebrating its 62nd Independence Day today (Tuesday) and we're off barbecuing and stuffing our faces on delicious salads celebrating with friends. While we do that enjoy this shot taken this past Saturday near Dina's home in the Jerusalem Hills.

  1. Hi Robin. It is really interesting how you and I were in the same places together on Shabbat but you saw and photographed things I never even saw. You are so artistic.

  2. That breathless silence you hear is me being wordless. This is amazing.

  3. I gasped. I exhaled slowly and just breathed this one in. It makes me sad and happy at the same time- inexplicably.

  6. It's fairly close to the SOOC shot but I did desaturate it a little and add a subtle texture. The bokeh was already there though.

  29. I scrolled down, saw this photo and it grabbed my heart and squeezed it tight. I know it's trite to use the word "beautiful" but, there is no other word...

Thank you for posting such loveliness for us all to share!

  30. What an amazing capture ... just breathtakingly beautiful! It's been a long time since I've visited ... I'm way behind with everyone and am glad you make your entire post available in your reader. Your vacation photos are marvelous and I enjoyed the COLORFUL flowers in Dublin. Sorry to hear about your 'lay off' ... I'm sure it's worrisome and stressful ... I pray it leads you to meaningful, satisfying sustaining employment elsewhere.
    Hugs and blessings,
