Window to the Sky

.
We've been having unseasonably late but welcome if you're anyone but me rainstorms the past week so our skies haven't been much to look at, but we're happy for how green they're making the land for a little while longer before the dry browns of summer return. On a recent walk the skies were a drab white but the leaves were kind enough to provide a natural frame.

Visit Skywatch Friday for more skies from around the world.

  1. I really like this .. something old fashioned looking, a sense of the past in the sepia tones

  2. I guess it's not often enough that we see this drab white sky.
    Good point. Good picture.

  3. Lovely frame. I haven't seen leaves in such a long while that I almost didn't recognize them as such. :)

  4. Cool photo, Robin! You took lemons (drab skies) and made lemonade!

  6. Robin, I really really love this one. There are so many things about it... it's peaceful, it makes me nostalgic about people I've recently lost, it's just absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for posting it.

  7. The sky is so blank one would be forgiven for thinking it didn't exist! It's like something out of a SciFi movie!
