I decided to revisit an old favorite this week, giving this version a more abstract, painted feel. I'm really pleased with this new, updated look. What do you think? This one, or the more realistic original?
Robin, I honestly like the original better, but I hadn't seen it before so I'm delighted that you revisited. Both the old and new post truly make me smile. Do you have any idea how they got those colored pussy willows in the first place?
I think I bought this one originally! Or, something very close to it. I gave it to my mom one Mother's Day b/c I used to rub pussy willows on my face and make my eyes swell! Lol. I love that photo.

ReplyDeleteThis is great - it seems almost an impressionists' take in oils. The bold colors are vibrant, each bud a visual treat, Very nice!
