You're cracking me up here. Cause you know I was wondering what does an umbrella have to do with your feet? Had you not told us there was no connection, I might have been here for hours contemplating this. On their own, both are great pictures. At first I thought we were seeing one foot on a reflective surface. More careful examination - in a completely platonic non-crazy stalkerish kind of way :) - shows that you were sitting with your feet together. But don't worry, I didn't spend hours contemplating how you composed your feet!
See, you get me Robert :). That's what I loved about the feet picture, the way it looks like a reflection at first glance. The birthmark gives it away if you look carefully though.
Sorry to have preempted your chance to spend hours pondering possible connections between the two LOL. Who knows how much valuable work time you could have frittered away that way...
I like both pictures! The umbrella and the feet. I like the combination and I like thinking outside the box. I am intrigued to notice how many people seemed to avoid the "feet" photo altogether in their comments. Further evidence that most people simple choose to ignore what they don't understand - how unfortunate for them!
Nice photos. Very summery. I wish I worked from home. Hopefully someday my business will be lucrative enough to allow me to quit my "day job." In the meantime, I live vicariously through my blog buddies.
Both subjects are very compelling in design terms. The spokes inside the umbrella have a sense of energy about them, even though it's a still object. And the foot - normally something on the move - exudes a contemplative stillness, especially reflected like that. Really enjoyed these.
Cool pics! Very brave to share feet photos. There isn't enough money in the world for me to do the same! At least not at this present - in need of pedicure - moment!
Robin, Here's where you'll really laugh at me. It was because of the birthmark that I knew. Good thing I didn't spend hours figuring it out though. I'd say half an hour at the most. Ha ha.

I've never taken a picture of either subject. The umbrella ones are really interesting.

Not that risque actually, I work from home ;-). It's an amusing thought though, isn't it?

You can have this one Indrani, it won't rain here again until next fall. I have no idea why my daughter suddenly took it out this morning.
I love how the umbrella came out!
This reminds me....I need to get a new umbrella....mine broke in the strong winds/rain this past year. I keep forgetting.
Cute feet.
My Wordless is shared, hope you can stop by if time allows!! Happy Wednesday.
I like the way you took pictures of the umbrella!

What do you do from home?
Ha! Now there is some creative avoidance...
You are so right, most of life does happen around the kitchen island.
Great umbrella photos.
Very creative!

Interesting how our minds work. What subconscious message convinced you to combine umbrellas and feet in a post today. Hmmmmmm!
