Click to enlargeGoing for another natural monochrome this week, loons this time, on a lake very near the spot which inspired the mythical Golden Pond of On Golden Pond fame. I just love loons, I could watch them for hours. This particular shot was taken a year ago but I was lucky enough this summer to be able to get within just a few feet of one when it surfaced right in front of my kayak, what a magical moment.
