Rack 'em up boys

.
After Saturday's beach adventure we headed across the street to our favorite bar family friendly dining establishment for lunch, happy hour cocktails (real American-style cocktails, and two for one!), touch-screen computer games and the chance for Itai to finally beat his father at pool.
.
.
.
It was a red letter day all around, and so very much needed after last week.

How'd he do?

Beat his dad, but neither one of them did much to cover themselves in glory LOL.

Lots of happy red dots in these pictures.
I like it when parents and children are competing in deep concentration.
My brother and my father played a thousand games of chess in just this concentrated way. My dad kept record throughout the years. I think he finally gave up when he stood with only 200 wins against my brothers 630. The rest were draws.
By then my brother had developed to become a gifted player and my father continued to be proud of his son, then winning games on local level.
Plus all the fun and quality time they had spent together, which made life long bonds of respect and love.

These shots look like they could be stills from a movie Robin. Awesome! Just awesome!

Very atmospheric. To me this scene looks more like one out of an American movie than from Israel. Yor son has grown quite a bit, hasn't he?

Judging by how often I have to buy him new pants, I'd guess that he has.

These family dives are so much fun. I found one last week that has the best hamburgers. Look here to check it out.

It sounds like fun after Christmas! I might like to visit there although I don't like Red Bull.
Happy RT! [my troupes are coming home]

I'm so glad you are having a better time than last week.

Great pool shots. I was never very good at that game, but I played with my husband on one of our first dates. My kids now like to look for pool tables when we go on vacation.

Daddy and son are rapt in concentration as the weigh their next shot. Pool can be cerebral, as you set up the shot to position the cue for the next shot. A family that relaxes together is nice to see, they grow so fast. Relaxing rubies we see at the um...eating establishment...

That looks like so much fun, just being a family (and beating dad) no hype just hanging out together, what a good way to start 2010! I hope everything is wonderful Robin, take care!

From your 2 photos, it looks like it could have been a bar in Kentucky with the Jim Beam and Red Bull signs. The only difference being, you all don't have the right accent. : )

Such concentration. You've captured some great expressions on their faces here.

I like the bits of red throughout the photos.

When one is a late commenter (like me) one ends up saying similar things to previous commenters,

Happy belated Ruby Tuesday ~
