At first glance, the way you caught the light, it looked like that tower was made of some metallic material. Love this!

The Campanile! When my eldest was in first year a gang of them, including her, climbed up to the steps above the statues and sat sunbathing to see would anyone notice!! My Dad had rooms to the left and down the next laneway.

how cool that you were in Ireland! you know I am from there... raised in Florida but born in Kilkenny... moved to the States when I was 5 (along with my immediate family but everyone else is still there) .. hope you had an awesome time. it's a great place, isn't it? ... came to you today because I saw you're comment on Tertia's blog - So Close. Didn't know you read her, too! Take care and have a great day tomorrow.. night night! :)

Didn't expect to see you turn up in Dublin after a few week's hiatus. Great photo, makes me nostalgic for my time at university...

Cool composition. I love the people bunched at the bottom, kind of echoing the statues on the building.
