Israel is in its glory in winter and spring as the winter rains bring forth a riot of color from formerly brown dry fields. Hard to imagine that this field on a moshav not far from me was ever brown and dry, isn't it?

Looking at this kaleidoscope of nature's bounty I couldn't help but want to take it home, a wildflower bouquet* of my own.

* Listen to track 8. And then go listen to all the rest of them too. Better yet, download the whole album to have for your very own.

Wow, it looks like a painting.
Yep, we're going to miss those flowers.
Thanks for the link to moshav. I learned a thing or two.
Beautiful bouquet of wildflowers.
Monet would envy such an image. Well played Robin, well played indeed.
I love this picture!
Mojo is right .. Monet would be envious ..
omigosh! I'm swooning. I want to dance through the field and spin and jump and laugh and . . . oh heck, you get it.
Oh I just love it, Looks like a water color Painting. I will have to checkout your sale site. I didn't know you sold your work. That's great. I'm in the process of creating a Vintage Sewing room and would love to have some new art work.
mother nature paints a lovely picture. Nicely caught :)
When I saw the photo, I said to myself the same thing Dina said, "it looks like a painting." Perhaps a Van Gogh painting, or a Monet. This field would have been a beautiful video. I know, I ask for too much. : )
This is incredible. the colors and shades of red and yellow are perfect.
How strange that blogspot has changed my name to that of my post!
You're an Israeli impressionist with a camera! Simply splendid!
What a lovely scenery indeed.
Colors that would make a painting cry in envy... beautiful, Robin!
We don't often think of a dry and arid land of only gray and brown hues, real drab earth tones. Thankfully. Spring is is place and the bold pastels give such a lively look in the valley, the subtlety of color adds a colorful carpet below...
That is just beautiful :)
That so lovely, so lovely, and thats cool you have your photos for sale:) Kudos to you
Just beautiful.
Glad you don't have pollen allergy though!
I visited you photo site. Lots and lots of rare pictures there.
I love ALL the color, this could be a watercolor painting or such. It would also work for the Mellow Yellow Photo theme. =) Beautiful!
woah! beautiful! and those colors! happy RT!
Robin, this is stunning!
The little bit of wild grass in the background accentuates the beauty of the wild flowers in the foreground.
I love poppies!
It's amazing! It looks so very cheerful!
That's just gorgeous, on a scale which seldom occurs here in MA, USA.
robin! one word: GORGEOUS. that is all. :)
That is a RIOT of color. I love it.
Spectacular! Our fields haven't looked like that in over 20 yrs.
It's so beautiful!

When I first pulled up your blog and saw the header I too thought it was a painting. How beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
it makes me want to lie down and look at the sky through the flowers...
How beautiful. All the more so when it's such an amazing transformation of the landscape. The poppies are stunning!
What a lovely shot! There's something magical about fields of flowers, isn't there? Spring has come here except for the temperature. Still chilly.
what an excellent field of blooms - gorgeous!
as wild and as natural as bouquets get.
Nice!
A splendid scene. I'm glad I had a chance to see this one.
P.S. I love the "breast fest" logo. I too am a proponent of breastfeeding. When my children were little, I was a peer counselor and an advocate for nursing moms.
Have you ever seen the youtube of Selma Hayeck nursing a starving child in Africa? I found it very genuine, though some would argue it was wasn't. (shrug)
beautiful! love the mixed of yellow and red :)
u may view mine too here
The field of colors is wonderful ~ It is like an Impressionist painting.
Happy Ruby Tuesday, Robin. I'm about a day late in posting. l
Patti's right. It really does look like an impressionist painting. Great pops of color!
Hello Robin. Happy Belated Ruby Tuesday!
I love impressionist paintings and this photo of red and yellow flowers truly resenbles.
