Summer Stock Sunday - Plumb Tuckered Out

.
.
.
.
I think my kids are having entirely too much fun with this whole summer vacation thing - between days chock full of activity, hot temperatures wearing everyone out and the Mondiale (World Cup) on tv late at night these kids have been going, going, GONE.
.
(In the interests of blogging accuracy Maya was busy creating dance videos on my little video camera not watching the World Cup but it would have been unfair (not to mention next to impossible) to put her to bed early while her brother stayed up yelling and screaming at the tv (he's a bit of an interactive watcher, to put it mildly) and since she didn't have to wake up in the morning we let her go until she crashed. Why Itai fell asleep kneeling in front of the couch the other night I haven't the faintest idea, but like any good blogger once I stopped cracking up I grabbed the camera and snapped a few quick photos before sending him off to bed.)

Happy Fourth of July to all the Americans out there, Happy Canada Day to all the Canadians, and happy summer to everyone else!
.
Come share all those holiday photos - what's tiring you all out this fine holiday weekend?

I've been that tired. If I didn't know that was Itai, I'd think it was me as a kid!

They really know how to do it don't they? Don't hold anything back. What a great way to live!

I think it's great to know a kid has had a good time. :)
Would you believe my Hubby takes little cat naps just like that against the couch. He says it helps his back.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Sunday!

Great shots. Will I admit that I watch the World Cup too?

"Tuckered" out? We use that phrase around the Tucker household a lot. Great photos, but you should have been relaxing while they slept!

I finally got the chance to join the meme, my friend.

I'm an interactive watcher of football
the NFL kind - and it does make a person tired :)

they're both such sweet kids

'Like any good blogger once I stopped cracking up I grabbed the camera and snapped a few quick photos before sending him off to bed.' - LOL!

My husband just woke up yesterday morning with his glasses case opened in his hand and his glasses still on. When you're tired, there's no time like the present, I guess...

Love both shots of your tuckered-out kids, but Itai is my favorite!

That's the best kind of tired!

Great shots! But to tell the truth, I especially like your fireworks-flower. What kind of flower is that, do you know? It's really beautiful!
:)

Wonderful shots. Keepers for sure! Those are the kinds of photos families love to look at in the future. :) They will be fun memories.

According to the florist who sold it to me it's a "hartzit rosh" - a type of chrysanthemum. I've been trying to get an accurate English translation for the past 3 days but no luck so far. My online dictionary doesn't like the two-word combo and I haven't found it anywhere else online. If anyone out there knows I'd be grateful if you'd tell me!

These photos are toooo funny! The most tired any of our children got (when younger) was once when camping, youngest keeled over and fell asleep with her head in a plate of pasta!! Unfortunately it was too dark for a photo but it is forever etched in our minds!!

Hi Robin!
These photos, and the events they depict, are the stuff of memories.
When we think of our summer holidays, we always remember the good times, don't we?
Good on you for going with the flow.

LOL I love these pictures! Glad you were still awake to take them.
Good luck with summer.

Your flower looks every bit like bursting fireworks. Amazing!
