How fun - Toby from I Wish I Were a Photographer really missed Mary's old Window Views meme, so she decided to start a new one of her own. Today marks the debut of her new Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors - come play along!
And hey look, I've been wordful this week too - happily this photo can do double duty for both Whimsical Windows and Wordful Wednesday :).

Here's my first contribution, a pair of old windows in Tel Aviv's historic Neve Zedek neighborhood.
I'd have loved a slightly wider shot showing more of the surrounding building but the street was so narrow that this is the best I could do. It's full of character though, which is what drew me to it in the first place.
I'm off to go link up now. Why don't you come along and join us?
My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography on Etsy and Society6 and bring home something beautiful today!

If the photo you're wishing for is something you've seen here on the blog which isn't in one of my shops yet just let me know and I'll happily list it for you.

I like those windows. There is a lot of odd angles in the old shutters, and the shadows cast very crisp shapes.
Oh, thanks so much Robin for participating, and especially with such awesome windows! You could submit that to Shadow Shot Sunday, too :)
Hello wow that is a gorgeous picture. Nice to meet you :-) just found your blog via Wordless Wednesday
I love the shadows on this photo Robin. I have visited that area of Tel Aviv. It is a really interesting area.
Fantastic shot, if they were mine I'd want them repaired or replaced, but some how they look absolutely perfect and picturesque in this setting!
That's a great shot!
Love that old stuff... it has character and life in it.
Those old shutters are quite clever, the way the lower half is on hinges and can be pushed open.
Love the picture...so much character. http://thrivingdespiteus.blogspot.com/2011/12/wordless-wednesday-one-good-picture-is.html
certainly full of character! very nice..
Fantastic shot. I love the colors and shadows. Thanks for announcing the revival of windows and doors. I'll be sure to play along when I can.

Great shot! Look quite odd doors and windows. Nice names btw :)
Wonderful windows - so rustic!
These windows are "antiques" !
Good framework! I like it
Great caption and capture :)
This shot is very cool! Somehow the old is much more pleasing to the eye than the new.
Beautiful image!
