(Forgive me for a somewhat unorthodox response to a writing prompt. I was thinking that the subject for this week's Matinee Muse, a multi-media prompt, was change, when in fact that one was something else entirely and it was Sunday Scribblings that had called for change, leaving my hopes for a simple photo post a bit befuddled. Since I've been sick all weekend and my head is still spinning I'm going to take the easy way out and go for a minimalistic combo.).
.
We often take for granted that which is right under our nose.
. .
But how much more the mundane can be when you just take the time to see.
.
Same coins, same arrangement, same lighting. What changed?
.

I did. .I changed my perspective..Step out of your comfort zone. Look harder. Look differently. The biggest change comes from within..

Unorthodox responses are cool! I agree that the pictures are very effective. I hope you get well soon, too!
Hope you are feeling better. I like the short, to the point text with the great photos to further illustrate your point.
For someone who's feeling dizzy, you sure see this clearly.
marvelous concept. I liked that you changed your perspective so much of what we learn in life comes from doing just that. Beautifully illustrated.
Now have hubby make some soup and get thee well!
He's making me homemade ravioli *grin*.
Taking the easy way out often provides a stunner of a post. This one was excellent.
Robin... I love this... I will never look at my "change" the same way again... XO
Cool, cool post. Love it, love it, love it.
Thank you.

I love your different perspective on change! The illustration are really what their name implies. They illustrate your thesis.

I try different perspectives from time to time, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's hard as hell! LOVE the second two shots :-)
