No Bathing

.
This is my favorite shot from last Saturday's photowalk. I like it's edgy, gritty feel, and the fact that the signs were obviously swiped from the beach a few blocks away and put into the window of this old back alley building on the far side of Tel Aviv's Carmel Market.
.
Many more windows, most containing glass rather than old plywood I'd venture to say, can be found over at Window Views. Stop by and check it out.

I usually feel pretty gritty if I don't bathe too. I tell ya, if I were ever to visit there I'd need a whole lotta CF cards. Big ones. You get some of the coolest shots!

Great photo - you'd think that they would have at least turned the signs around so that the words weren't visable....But then, if they had, you wouldn't have been able to take such a great shot!

Ha-ha-ha - great find! I know the feeling :) Try driving in Bulgaria - all the signs are gone :) made me smile - big smile!

Gritty, back alley, shuttered! Hey! At least the sign is serving a better purpose, yes? Does anyone really pay attention to the "No swimming" ones, anyway? Nice to recycle, here...

Really [re your comment]? I didn't even know there was a chicken song until now. Think I'm getting more and more out of touch with all things American.
