Gone sailin'

Not really, I haven't actually been sailing in years but it seemed a fitting title for this shot of what must have been some kind of regatta, since none of us remember ever seeing so many sailboats on the lake at once - there must have been dozens of them out there.

We're all having a great time - my sister and her kids have been here all week, it's great getting the chance to really spend time with them, the older kids (my two and my niece) are in camp half-days and we're spending most afternoons either down at the beach or out on the water. Itai is learning how to kayak and Maya rode the tube all by herself - they're growing up right before my very eyes. They're also eating like they've got a tapeworm, I think I'll wait another week or two before buying them long pants for the coming year!

Whoops, I just realized how late it is. Better cut this short, the campers have a field trip to the town beach tomorrow and I've got to get up early and get them organized for it. (Yes, I should have done it tonight but I was too darn tired. Tomorrow will be fine, as long as I get off the computer already and get to bed!)

More later, hope you're all having a great week!

Such a feeling of freedom in that photo! I love the idea of sailing but, alas, my stomach revolts whenever I set foot on a boat.

Have a wonderful time with your family...
