Anemone

Yes, it's another anemone. They're blooming everywhere now and I just can't get enough of these beautiful wildflowers. I plan to enjoy them as long as possible because before we know it the rainy season will end (please oh please let it end already!) and the hills will be back to their usual summertime drab. In the meantime it's red petals galore here around the island, and a glorious sight they are.

The littlest ruby stands out in this scene much greater than its small size suggests. In that field of green, the flower is a ruby gem!

How's the sewing going?

Pretty well actually, I made a lined bag (small tote) the other day that looks pretty darn good :). I'm planning out my next projects now, in preparation for another expedition to Nahalat Binyamin for fabric.

Gorgeous...love the vivid red color and the lone single beauty that is so well 'highlighted' in the macro.
