Hold that thought

Sorry, real life, in the form of a boatload of work, is intruding today. I'll be back later. I got talked into a free facial this afternoon from a consultant who is going to come to my home and hard sell me into buying a whole bunch of products I don't need/can't afford/make me break out provide the magic answer my rapidly aging skin is desperate for.

What can I say, hope springs eternal.

Wish me luck.

Just try to relax and enjoy it! Then is you don't like it, you can always misplace your purse - no checks, no cash, no credit - NO SALE!

Dawn, I was so gratified to see that you had visited my post this morning. I noticed several things wrong with my post that I've since fixed. The most important one is that the linkback to Joe's involvement during 9/11 didn't publish.

I would be so honored if you would please return just to see my tribute to my husband for that day. Thank you.

Sounds like the facial should be nice......:)

It was. And expensive ;-).

At least I managed to only buy two (hideously expensive) things, not the SIX she tried to sell me! Truth is, my skin has been looking very blah lately and could really use the help. It's either that or find a way to permanently photoshop my face LOL.

So funny . . . I just went through my "face" drawer for the first time in YEARS this weekend and was telling Noe (2 yrs old) how one accumulates all kinds of 'extras' that you never use, but find five years later with a crust around the lid.

I had a friend years ago who sold makeup. When people asked her secret, she would say something about such and such facial cream.

But she told us the real truth is she drank a lot of water.

Glad you didn't buy *too* much. Hope you had fun.
