That's a gorgeous scene! Looks like the bottom drops off very sharply once you get out a little though. Could make for some nasty surprises. But that green makes me think the surf temperature is very warm.

If you're a beach lover, you need to come by and see me next week. I'm doing beach photos all week long!

This time of year the water is still extremely warm. Late summer it can literally feel like warm bathwater. You're right about the danger though, there can be nasty riptides and strong currents lurking under there.

It's amazing to me to see highrises directly on a beach. We're still so surf/rocks/sand/trees around here. But I wouldn't mind checking out the view from one of those upper story windows...
