TT - Ice Cream Toppings, Bottomings and Next To's

No, bottomings is probably not a word, but what would you call it...

Here are 13 classics to dress up your favorite scoop:

Toppings:

1. Hot fudge sauce!
2. Hot butterscotch sauce
3. Whipped cream
4. Sprinkles
5. Homemade berry syrup (blueberry, rasberry, strawberry...)
6. And of course the proverbial cherry on the top

Bottomings (there's that word again):

7. Brownies
8. Waffle cone
9. Sugar cone
10. Waffle
11. Chocolate chip cookie
12. Vanilla wafers

Next-To's:

13. A banana of course!

So, how many of you are now planning on ice cream for dessert (or even for breakfast) today?

Visit the Thursday Thirteen hub to see what everyone else is counting this week.

We were invited over to a friend's house for ice cream cake tonight, but the Tour Manager's got a date ... with a deck of cards and set of chips.

*sigh*

I like "bottomings" but in my mind it's where the icecream all ends up.

I only wish I could have ice cream for desert. But being lactose intolerant, its a no-no for me...

I'm so glad I'd already eaten my ice cream before I got here. I'd have put a lot more on it than chocolate and caramel syrup.

Happy TT!

I've had ice cream with cereal sprinkled on top for breakfast before. I just can't resist on the days when I wake up and it's already in the 90s.

In a perfect world, where no tummies hurt and no weight is gained, I'd like a scoop of coffee ice cream, on top of a brownie, with butterscotch sauce, marshmallow topping and some nuts! Hold the cherry :-)

Mmmmmm....I just had a big bowl of vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce last night. With the sultry humid nights we've been having, with our monsoons, it tasted so good!!

Happy Thursday, Robin!!
