What a beautiful photo. I love it when something simple and "ordinary" - something we don't give a second look to usually - becomes an object of beauty. The black and white is wonderful - and the soft folds and curves of the ribbon. I'm gushing. Sorry. Lovely photo.
This looks great, you have taken everyday object and made it look interesting, love the DOF and the perpective too, and I think desaturating has assed depth. Just lovely :-)

Nice. With my new passion for photoshop, I keep forgetting the beautiful simplicity of black and white. Always classic.

Gorgeous photo. I love the "hard" and "soft" elements together. B&W is perfect. Nice job!

The black and white really bring out the lines and texture here. Very nice work.
I didn't realize how pretty a ribbon on a stick could look.
