The original background was my kitchen island (see my header). On top of that I layered several different Florabella textures and a bit of a vignette, but I erased all the textures from the leaf itself to keep it crisp and bright.
Actually Sara, the leaf itself was just an ugly brown leaf, looking quite dead. It's all in the post processing, we don't really have fall colors here.

Definitely wall-worthy! Magnificent in its simplicity. We had sort of the same idea today... "The Gift To Be Simple".
Simple. Beautiful. Peaceful. Definitely "wall" worthy.
Can I have a print? It's gorgeous.
Lovely. I enlarged it and the detail of the little holes and mars in the leaf are incredible.
We get a lot of boundary testing around here as well. I'd love to have coffee and talk (whine) about it!
It's beautiful, Robin.
Isn't nature wonderful?
Do put it on the wall.
Perfect for the wall Robin!! I would definitely frame it! Great shot. Happy WW!!
The texture is captivating.

Beautiful.
Fall is such a lovely time. Your leaf picture is wonderful in its simplicity.
It is beautiful. On the perfect background too. Happy WW!
Very simple and symmetric, but also very detailed in the leaf's texture. This would be a great picture for the wall!
I love or perhaps textured paper. Whatever, the two certainly compliment each other. Happy WW
Oh, you were right... it WAS worth the click. Quietly perfect.
Happy WW!

It is a happy colored fallen leaf - deserves to go up again - this time on the wall.
Beautiful shot Robin, what is the background? It is a lovely contrast of the texture and color of your subject.
Just lovely!

Simplicity = beauty
Nice photo of a fallen fall leaf, Robin.
That is beautiful! I save fall leaves too, but I haven't seen one that pretty yet.
