Anyone who's been coming around here for a while knows that I just can't get enough of Dale Chihuly's magnificent work, so what a treat to find that a number of his pieces were still on permanent display at Tel Aviv's Litvak Gallery even after the close of last winter's spectacular solo show.
Here's one of my favorites - a black and yellow basket with just enough of a red (ok, orangey-red, but definitely still in the red family) tinge around the top to sneak it in for this week's Ruby Tuesday ;).
My photography is available for purchase - visit Around the Island Photography and bring home something beautiful today!

PS Many thanks for stopping by - hope you enjoy my novel!
Wow, it's gorgeous!
What a cool view! The black seems foreboding as it goes up to the precipice of the yellow. The brilliant golden hue gives me a feeling of depth, as if the drop is for a great distance. I'd watch my step...
Beautiful and original composition, I like, great.
What a beauty of dramatic colours and shapes. The shapes reminds me of the Finnish Alvar Alto's famous vases, but the colours; liquid lava in a black rock are unique.Your way of adding light to the photo surely even more enhanced the artist's work.
Just great.
This piece of art is awesome!

Lovely capture .. it flows so smoothly and gracefully ..
It looks like a lava flow!
YEA FOR SCARLET
Yea for scarlet, yea for red!
Yea for summertime that’s fled
To some far-off frigid place,
Where no ruby shows its face!
