Butterfly Series, Monarch #3

(No, you're not imagining things, I did in fact jump from number one to number three - number two just wasn't red (okay, orangey-red, work with me here...) enough for Ruby Tuesday. It will appear on the blog one of these days.)

Such amazingly detailed stained-glass wings! Such a simple composition, yet magnificent! :-)

Robin, what a huge quality!!!

The smallest red flower is mighty powerful - it attracted that butterfly, itself so beautiful and a true connoisseur of lovely flowers. The out of focus view beyond the extraordinary subjects adds a delightful character to this view - stunning it is!

I am awed by your ability and talent as evidenced by these photos.

My favorites are still the ones you have captured in and around your home stomping grounds. Maybe because sitting here outside Washington DC Israel seems exotic. Whatever.

Glad you made it home safely. Looking forward to more images from anywhere!

Your butterfly is so crisp - you captured it so well. Love the background on this one.
