Macro image of one of the beautiful gladioli our friends brought us for Rosh Hashana (chosen for their suitability as a photographic subject - they know me quite well).
My googling tells me that the gladiolus flower signifies
remembrance, strength of character, honor and faithfulness.
It also represents infatuation, telling the receiver that they have pierced the giver's heart.

as always, beautiful...
Soft colour tones. Nice one
wonderful way to frame the pistil.
