Old City Window

.
Taken in Jerusalem's Old City, just inside the Jaffa Gate.
.
You know you're a blogger when you see something like this and the very first thing that passes through your mind is "hey, that's PERFECT for Mary's Window Views meme!"
.
Remember, Summer Stock Sundays starts THIS Sunday, 31 May, right here at Around the Island.

Great shot with the reflection in the window panes, the two chairs and the sign. Well-done!

Wow, that is a GREAT shot!! If I am right about what building that is, there is a PHENOMENAL view from the rooftop (if you are not staying there, they ask you to pay to go up...)

Yes, Jerusalem has great windows for Mary's meme! If only someone would get rid of the tacky plastic chairs, it would be quite an elegant scene.

I bet Tsefat would also have pretty windows for this meme...you should plan another trip there, too!

I absolutely love the texture of the stone in this picture. I just want to run my hand over it.

Lovley shot and love the contrast of the old city and the modern video vigilance down to the left.
My
window post is up.

I was wondering if people would pick up on that Mar, that struck me too.

Personally, I like the contrast between the tacky plastic chairs and the ancient stone. Just one more contrast in this city of contrasts.

I had to laugh about you saying you took the picture for blogging. I did the exact same thing this week when I was in Columbus, Ohio. Come see my windows.

BTW, I love you picture!

Great shot. Isn't blogging wonderful? The memes make you see things that might otherwise go unnoticed. Happy Thursday!

It is perfect, nicely composed as well.

I think that's one of the benefits of blogging. It helps us look at the world with the perspective of "how can I tell my bloggy friends about this". On my family page I have a spot where I post pictures of the antics of my very busy grandchildren. So instead of getting angry at them, we laugh and take pictures and then clean the mess up. Makes life a little more pleasant.

I used to think "That is so bloggable". I don't know what happened to me. I need to get back at it!

This photo is fabulous! Great one.

Love this Robin. I blanked out the welcome sign with the hand over the screen and liked it even better.

Beautiful shot - made me go through my pictures and look for window views. Found one from my home town that I took two years ago - memories returned. Thank you!

Girl, your photography is intimidating! I mean, you get marvelous shots, and now I'm embarrassed to show mine! I want to be a part of your Summer Stock Sundays, and I know I'm going to be hanging my head in shame.

I love arched windows - and the sign and the chairs make this image special.

Intimidated? My goodness, you certainly shouldn't feel intimidated - this is all supposed to be fun :).

Thanks for the plug on FB by the way.
