This field of anemones, with cyclamen and thistles sprinkled about as well, is blooming in a forest just a few minutes from my home and was the site of a delightful picnic Saturday afternoon (and good that we got it in when we did, it's been rainy and miserable ever since!).

Wow, this photo is other-worldly. You seem to have a real forest in the area!

Great Shot Robin! As the rain and thunder was going at it yesterday I was thinking of all the stunning flowers I too got to see over this past weekend, I was also thinking there will be even more this coming weekend :)
Nice shot Robin. I can hardly wait until it starts to rain here.
Wildflowers are a sure sign of Spring (wish we had a few of these sprouting through the snow in New England), the small and subtle reds are more powerful that their size indicates. Warmth, sun and rain is what the flora desires, and we will be rewarded with their beauty!
Wow! Anemones are wildflowers in Israel!? I LOVE them!
What a beautiful place! I'm glad you enjoyed your picnic when you did!
Wow, this is a gorgeous scene. I love the pretty red Anemones.
These are lovely anemones. Perfect for Ruby Tuesday! Did you lie on your stomach to get this shot?
Inquiring minds want to know. ;-)
that is really beautiful!
Great capture! I love the way the red "pops" against the greens.
When you get to my blog you might want to scroll down a bit and look at my duck photos. They will probably interest you most.
What a beautiful spot to spend time! I'm envious of your picnic spot.
Lovely spring photo!

Not lying down completely Patti, just squatting low :). I'd have crushed other flowers if I'd laid down.
