A natural monochrome from me this week - this is the top of a storage box currently residing under my daughter's (not at all black and white or geometric) bed. I like the way the circles almost seem to float off the black background. Sometimes they look like rows of bullseyes to me, other times like a cartoon-style alien invasion, or just a geometric progression. Either way, they make me smile. .I hope they make you smile too..

I love geometric figures in children's rooms. Nice b&wh. :)
They looked like rows of cooking elements, when enlarged even seemed to glow:-/
An optical illusion...:-)
Looks like those pictures where the circles start to move if you stare at them long enough :) Or like a backdrop of the new Star Trek movie! Very cool!
Beautiful. Hope you are ok. I love your blog, so interesting and thought-provoking.

Excellent I love this :)
wonderful perspective!
I like the way you picked out the one disc in focus - gives a sense of movement.
Beautiful greys...
Thanks for visiting my blog. Hope to see you back soon.
I like the way the circles float too.
Looks as though folks are having fun with your Summer Meme! I look forward to joining in some time.
The black circles do seem to float or at least give an optical illusion of twirliness (not a real word) as the eye moves back in the image. Nicely captured.
Nice b&w. Nice capture;-)
You'll have to look some more and see if you can't find another one!
Smiling here in Tulsa!
dammit woman! You did it again!
Awesome pic.
MWAH
Nice shot. :-)
Awesome DOF! it truly does make the circles "float" -- or maybe it's the combination of DOF and background color. Whatever it is, you could probably make money off this one. It rocks!
They make me smile too. At first I thought it was a photo of a painting. Kind of like pop art.
What a fun shot .. you have such a good eye
I am at work but taking it easy, I am hoping I can get to visit the Sunday crew today ...
