Star light, star bright

Sorry folks, I forgot to change the link (again, I have a real mental block against this apparently). This week's WW can be found here.

Around the island!

Actually, me and my trainer are from a tropical island. (I lied, sub-tropical). Sorry.

Still, you take nice pictures from your kitchen island.

These are amazing stars. Your pictures show you live under a lucky one. Thanks for visiting my site and enjoying the fire truck.

What beautiful vibrant colors. The pattern on them for some reason reminds me of butterfly wings. They are lovely.

Happy WW from Sara @ the Mostly Wordless Wednesday H.Q.!

Very ornamental. They are so pretty, I first thought it was a plant, yes I need my eyes checked, then I looked again to see if they might be a six sided star of David. Intriguing to guess how they are made.

Only five points, so not Star of David. They are too pretty to need a real function, so I'm just enjoying the colorful patterns.

Hi Robin - Thanks for the comment. I was planning on putting Midweek blues up on Tuesday evenings so it would be ready for Wednesday posts. Hope you'll join in and we can get the fun going!

Are these displayed in your house? Very colorful..:)

Very intricate designs. They remind me of the red paper star lamps that are so common during Christmas on our island. You find them hanging in many windows and doorways.

These star remind me of my old kaleidoscope - remember that thing that reflects moving pieces of colored glass! Very eye stealing image!

Beautiful shots! Do NOT hang those in the windows, girl. I bought a lovely one in San Francisco two years ago, and hung it in my window to enjoy it. The sun has faded it to almost nothing.

Oh pretty .. in San Antonio there's a fabulous restaurant called Me Tierra and they have those lights hanging from the ceilings.. so pretty

Robin: Thanks for revisiting my site and appreciating the rain. You make me curious about revisitng Israel..I still have a few relatives in Jerusalem and of course I am tied to it culturally and care about its future.

Aren't they gorgeous? I didn't make them unfortunately, I saw them in a stall in the shuk. They weren't that expensive if you want to pick a few up.
