Sky, reflected

.

A bit of a different take on Skywatch this week. It's cold and windy and very very gray here this week, and it's making me long for the warm gold tones of summer.

Liquid gold.
Yeah...the good old days of summer. Wait, weren't we always complaining about the heat and the boredom of sunshine day after day? :)

Works here too where it is officially the coldest day this month/season .. brrrrr

Lovely .. warm and golden!

Not me Dina - I love summer with its heat and relentless progression of sunny days. If only they'd just continue longer...

I don't wanna hear it! I told you to keep Summer Stock Sunday going all year.

But noooooo.

Love the photo though. It'd work really well on something like, say...
Summer Stock Sunday?

But since there's not a Summer Stock Sunday during the winter, I suppose Skywatch will do.

(You do realize I'm yanking your chain right?)

ROFL. Yes, I do realize.

(You know that even here in the land of not quite eternal sun I'd eventually have run out of summer photos, right, and those of you in the cold winterlands would have long before that?)

That looks so heartwarming!! It's snowing here in Belgium and it's very very cold! Ewwww!

Before even reading the caption the picture screamed summer to me and warmed my bones. Perfect for this cold day in New England.

Liquid gold was the fir5st thought that came to my mind, too. I can't say that thought since every one else has, and all that leaves me with is, "Ooooh, pretty!"
