For my first contribution I'd like to offer this one from right here in my little corner of the world, as meaningful - and needed - today as it was the day it was written.

Wow, this challenge is tailor-made for you, isn't it?! :-) And your first contribution is perfect... and beautiful! I love your photography, you have a gift for capturing the essence of things!
Spot on!! And I do so love this photo of yours, it was one of the one's I dithered over before I chose your rose!
It's perfect!
What a beautiful city you live in, Robin. I will indeed pray for peace in Jerusalem.
Not quite mine Mimi, I'm about 45 minutes away, much closer to Tel Aviv, but certainly in the general neighborhood ;).

A beautiful photo and one of my favorite places too...and psalms...maybe I will try to join you in this Psalm Challenge.
The wall feels to shrink life to its real, its important meaning.
With tentions high in your neighbourhood, for sure a much needed, thought of, hope. Maybe even a promise in the making.
Thank you as well for taking part with your artful photography. A pleasure to see you next week again.
Please have a good start into the new week.

Cheers to 2011 bringing you good health, laughter, peace, love and more happiness than your heart can hold!
This was on of my very favorite places to visit when we spent some time in the Middle East. This photograph captures it perfectly!
This is so wonderful! I love your country and pray for it every day:-) I remember I took a picture of a stone with these words at the tomb in Jerusalem.
Wish you and your family a great new year!
Happy New Year! Happiness and health to you and the family!
Just caught up on about a MONTH of lapsed reading... After such an awful late 2010 experience, I hope that 2011 brings hope and healing. And more beautiful Around the Island images! Love the gold against the blue in this one.
Thinking of you.

Oh I love this! Beautiful in every possible way...may it be so in Jerusalem and all over the world.
