Chihuly's Persian Window

.

Another stunning installation from the Chihuly exhibit (here's the first one I shared, in case you missed it), this time of his Persians. Aren't they incredible? I could have stood there looking at them all day. The rich reds and yellows were particularly spectacular - and of course an excellent fit for this week's Ruby Tuesday.

Yep, I can see how it would be a nice addition to your kitchen window or somewhere around the island.

congratulations on your photo of poppies being featured on The Pioneer Woman today.

Thanks Kaye, I'm utterly delighted I must say (and very honored).

PS They're anemones by the way, the poppies bloom a bit later I think (or is it earlier?). (Not that I knew myself, I had to ask my kids, who learn about Israeli wildflowers in school :).)

Beautiful! I especially like the textures used. I could see this hanging in my house. :)

Oh gosh, each one of these on its own would be stunning, but altogether they make the most amazing bouquet.
I missed this one, so thanks for the linky back to it.

About ten years ago (I think), we enjoyed the Chihuly exhibit at the Tower of David Museum in the Old City.

Happy Purim!

Oh these are so lovely, Robin! Are they made of glass?

Robin said...

Yes, they're all glass, and quite breathtaking too.

Gorgeous!! I absolutely LOVE Chihuly's work. We had a big exhibit of it at our local art museum a few years back and it was wonderful. We still have a gorgeous fixture in the foyer of the museum.
