Gorgeous! Looks like spring. I know you didn't take that recently since you just mentioned the rain and sleet surrounding you today.

Thanks for your thoughts for Ralph. He recuperated. Took three big guys to get him out of the seat! No way I could have done that.

Hey I met your Mom at the Altrusa meeting! She is so nice!! We joked about how we knew about each other before we even met! Yes, it is a small world!

What a beautiful blue sky - and the flowers are a great contrast. Well caught bee - I waited hours to get a good shot of one last summer, they kept changing direction! xo

I took it a week ago Patti, winter is a very fickle thing around here. A few days from now it will look like this again.

Looks like the bee is just pasted on the sky - it's actually so vivid! What pretty blossoms. Nice composition with all the blue sky.

This is a stunning capture! And glad to know there's always plenty to go around. Almond blossom I've not seen before. Thanks for sharing!

This has got to be the most interesting post today for me. I like how you captured the insect in flight.

Okay, I am awed. Truly awed. Immensely. This is fatastic!

So. I was just involved in a discussion of your kitchen. Is your stove set up with five burners? Looks like a cluster of four smallish ones around one GIANT one. Which is a pretty nice configuration if you ask me.

Not as nice as this photo though. Wow. Just... wow.

You caught a bee hovering. Cool!

Thanks for your advice on hot water bottles. I actually did buy one for the first time several months ago. What a great foot warmer in bed.
I even posted a picture of it last Thursday, hehe.

Ah, Robin, the distant memory of a blue sky!
Lovely almond blossoms and lovely bee.
What's this about hot water bottles ?(previous comment)- I'd have thought you'd have no use for them over there!
