Incredible color, texture, detail. Love blue in nature - what a beauty.

Pretty much the same reaction as Leora - I really like the color and texture, and the sharp contrast of the petals and leaves.

Lupine. Looks like the Sierra in summer, which I'm looking forward to. Right now, it's all snow.

in late spring when I drive the interstate through the Columbia River Gorge, I am always enchanted by the purple lupine on the mountain sides.

They blanket the rocky slides and make the river look unwrapped and surrounded by the festive ribbons of lavender blue

Stunning capture, Robin! It is so beautiful. We won't have any lupine here for a few more months. Nice to enjoy yours.

My garden is currently buried under 15 inches of snow and more is falling as I type. I absolutely adore blue flowers -- lovely.

My friend and I were recently talking about technology, and how integrated it has become to our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further develops, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.

I guess I am not the only person that loves blue flowers, but the blue in your photo is so dense, it almost looks plastic. Nice photo.

Beautiful Lupine. I just discovered Crocuses, Witch Hazel and another beautiful flower whose name I must investigate in bloom this morning. Spring is arriving early this year.

I love how the blue radiates so much beauty in this picture! Will this be available on your Etsy too? It should! :-)

Gorgeous Robin, is it growing where you live? Do you by chance know the variety (wild flowers are an interest to me) this looks similar to the Alpine just not as plump! Just beautiful!

Wow! That is some blue! We have lupine here, but they are a very average shade of purple. And they last only a short time in the spring.

Amazing, and I love the vibrant blue color. It is giving me a major case of spring fever!
