Reuse and Resist - Street Art in Tel Aviv

.
Spotted last week near Tel Aviv's Nachalat Binyamin crafts market...

If you look carefully, you'll see that that bright red writing also includes a link to the Reuse and Resist website. Have a look, they've got a good message to get out about the power of art in public spaces.

Fist and flower--a nice combination. And a website too.
Nice find.

I like arts to be used in something like this. ^_^

What's really cool here is the fist with resist is seen by many as violent. Yet, by using using a flower, they show that might alone will not change hearts. The smaller flower as an analogy, the quieter side had a more potent message. Nice!

Very powerful words softened by the flower. I wish peace would reign in the area.

Happy RT, here's my entry.

Great find. I am quite fond of street art (you've probably noticed it appears in my posts a lot). I also like how valid websites have worked their way into such art. I have started to see QR codes here in addition to textual web addresses.
