Too close for comfort

We're still out of range, but that eight-story apartment building in Ashdod that got a direct hit yesterday?

My friend lives in the building next door.

Holy Crap. Keep your head down, hon. I want you and your family SAFE AND SOUND! I demand it be so! I'd also really appreciate it if the country was still there when I come out and visit before I hit 40. ;) Stay safe, hon.
How are your kids taking this, especially Maya?

Maya's pretty oblivious to be honest. We don't keep the news on when the kids are around, and she's been much too busy doing her "homework" (workbooks) and putting on makeup lately. She's suddenly five going on fifteen LOL.

Itai's much more concerned, but we're doing our best to keep him reassured. He'd very much like an answer to the questions "why can't we all just talk nicely to each other?" and "why did someone have to go and invent guns anyway?". Good questions kid, I'd like to know those answers too...

So for now we're cautious, but not directly affected. It's very disconcerting to be going about our daily business, knowing that friends and fellow countrymen are being bombed at that very moment.

I've got a "great room" upstairs, with it's own private bath & cable tv. It's got welcome sign with your name on it, if you want to come!

Bring your friend too.

Dear Robin, I am sending all my love, prayers and good wishes for this turmoil to end. Many people to not understand what is going on. There is such sadness in my soul.
Please keep safe and hug the kids for me.
Much love!

Very, very scary. Hope your friend is (physically) ok (mentally, he/she may be a wreck after something like that!)

I think of you every time I read a news report. Be safe and keep posting to let us know that you are. I'll be here worrying and sending good thoughts.

I want to say "stay safe" but how do you do that? I'm thinking of you and your family and hope that it all ends soon. And you all remain safe.

Good couple of questions from your son. Too bad those in the seats of power aren't asking the same ones.

If you needed to make a run for it, I'm pretty sure you could find refuge in any number of places here. But just for the record, you can add mine to the list.
