The Hardest Part Is Turning the PDA On

As if yesterday morning wasn't enough, here's a little tip I hit on after yesterday afternoon:

It's not enough to write important events down in your pda/calendar/planner, you actually have to then look in the flippin' thing to know what you have on for the day, or you might mix up your days and miss an important appointment. I'm just sayin'.

That's the way my week is going. Sorry, other than that I've got nothing this week.

Look here for tips from people more together than me.

This is exactly why I am a paper gal because I have been known to leave my phone at home and not even know it :)

Honey, I feel your pain!!!! My dh commented the other day about me writing religiously in my calendar, yet remembering nothing...where he writes nothing and remembers everything! ugh!

LOL I have SO been there. I remember having 3 appointments all scheduled right on top of eachother - when I explained this to one office the woman acted extremely offended that I was cancelling HER office. Um - get over it. LOL

We need PDAs and calendars that tap us on the shoulder and say, "Excuse me? You need to get 37 dozen cupcakes over to the school in an hour." How hot would that be? And even hotter if it made the damn cupcakes.

Check out my recent WFMW post on the wonders of the Google Calendar...

I can't imagine life without it. Seriously.

It will e-mail you. You can tell it to e-mail you the night before the cupcakes are needed. Setting it up is a pain, but once it's rolling... Oh, baby. I have a separate calendar for each person in the house. This is key. I've even considered setting up one for the animals (put on the Frontline, change the fish filter, vet appointments, etc.).

Google Calendar has changed (saved?) my life. Try it!!

I have a love/hate relationship with organizers ~ I love them, but I hate to actually use them. I write things on the calendar that hangs in the kitchen by the phone.

This is a great tip! Of course, I bought a great calendar - one with stickers and everything - but still haven't written a single thing in it two months later!

You're so right... I always write things down and never look at them again!
