Words and images vie for equal time.
I was going to sit out today's Project Black to give my
words a chance to shine before they were knocked off the top of the page, but when I took these photos this morning I knew it wasn't to be. It couldn't be helped, they were just crying out to be included in the project. Humor the words too though, if you will. Enjoy the pictures below, and then take a moment to read the words which preceeded them, for they contain the essence of my very being, the fitting conclusion to years of soul searching. Aw heck, just click over there and see for yourselves.

Since I already read and commented -- and am still thinking about -- your words, I'll leave you with one about these pictures:

Great lines here. I still can't tell which way is up down or sideways. But like the previous commenter, these are indeed COOL. :)

Dear Robin, these are just so good leads the eye's all over, there is not one part of the photos you do not look at.

What a great way to start the week......words and images. I'm still trying to decide if I have anything to write for Scribbit's write away. Loved yours.

love these curves, now I'm going to read your words.

Wonderful shots. I love the curves and the different angles. I think the first is my favorite because I like the way the light shifts.

I also enjoyed your bacon frying essay. They lied to my generation too. And your previous project black entries - the bottle cap, the mosaic and the key - that I hadn't seen before.

Love the lines in these photos, and the soft beige background is really nice.

I grew up with the same lies that you did, so I know what you mean in your essay. That Superwoman myth caused a lot of heartache. I'm happy for you that you've found your own way to happiness.
