Lessons Learned

A young boy
running through the desert

Chasing tumbleweeds
and lizards

An azure sky

Harsh sunlight
unbroken by clouds

Sticks and rocks and
strange looking bugs

Running, chasing, seeking

Look mom, I'm walking backwards

Discovery

Never fear, he was. It was years ago. It happened to a friend's kid - he's actually living in CA now.

Ouch! So glad it was a long time ago.

But I bet it took ages to get all of those little spines out. ;)

Kids are always bumping into things when they get really involved in their play. It's such a shame!

I loved this! i once had a "chance encounter" with a cactus in Kmart when, at the age of 6, I decided I'd like to know what a cactus felt like, and so wrapped my hand around it! OUUUUCCCCHHHH!!
